I am pleased to present the first in a series of articles on this year’s Computer science summer camp. There are still more than X months or more precisely Y days to the beginning of this year’s camp, and this year we started with preparations very early. Of course not without a good reason. In August 2009 we organised the first of the summer camps of computer science at the Kal (the summit of the Zasavje-Posavje hills with an altitude of 946 meters) at the initiative of Mija Kordež from the Slovenian Technical Culture Association (ZOTKS), then in the form of a summer school.
By the way, my name is Tadej Žlak. For the last couple of years, I am the leader of the summer camp and I take care of the organisational and partly also the content-wise aspect of this camp. Since this year we are preparing the 10th camp in this form, I decided to reveal in some short publications some interesting details of the organisation of the camp.
Let it be enough for the first release. I am looking forward to your comments and suggestions on the following topics. In the meantime, you can find camp details on the ZOTKS website. Applications for the camp are already open, but hurry, since the number of free places for participants is limited.
